Jaipur Evening Food Tour Review – Guide Vivekananda (Vicky) This evening we had a wonderful food tour in the Pink City, Jaipur, with our guide Vivekananda (Vicky). He was extremely knowledgeable not only about Jaipur city, but also about its culture, history, and of course, its amazing food. We started with delicious samosas, followed by a lovely walk through the side streets where Vicky explained the history of the old houses and the heritage of the Pink City. He then took us to some of the best local savoury shops where we enjoyed kachori, lentil dosa, mirchi bajji, and chai — everything was absolutely delicious and authentic. As we continued walking, Vicky shared fascinating stories about the kings, the city planning, and the UNESCO World Heritage status of Jaipur. It was like walking through history while enjoying the best street food in the city. Overall, it was a gold star evening. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Jaipur.
